“Our home away from home”

Circumstances necessitated a prolonged stay in Managua. We arrived as anxious grandparents, all the way from Australia and have just returned after spending three months at El Mirador Suites and Lounge. We can vouch for the excellence of the staff, the food, the service and most of all for the caring attitude of our hosts, Shannon and Michael who did everything they could to facilitate our stay. El Mirador is a beautiful place, small enough to feel like home, and spacious enough so you do not feel confined – the rooms are large, and there are a variety of spaces where you can chill out, you can read in the lounge, relax in the garden, swim in the pool or muse on the verandah as you look over Santo Domingo towards Lake Managua in the distance. We have forged long lasting friendships and left with a heavy heart and fond memories.
