“”An All-Round Amazing Experience””
From the moment we arrived at the El Mirador Suites and were graciously greeted by Shannon and her wonderful staff, we truly felt welcome and at home. We can’t stress enough how much of a gem this beautiful property is and how it served as our home away from home! We had the pleasure of spending our first two nights on the front end and two additional nights on the tail end with them, during our 9 day visit to Nicaragua (clearly not enough time to properly be immersed!). Both Michael and Shannon were more than accommadating in assisting with the planning portion of our itinerary. We expressed to them some of the places/things we wanted to visit/experience and they provided suggestions, direction, and sage advice, based on their own personal experience and exposure in the country. This proved to be an invaluable and critical piece to the planning of our adventure and we appreciate the time, effort, and energy they spent organizing it all for us! During our stay, we enjoyed delicious breakfasts (be sure to try the pancakes!), lunches, and dinners…possibly a few glasses of vino were consumed too! A huge thanks to Roger as well, who was a local wealth of knowledge/information and selflessly wanted to ensure our vacation was maximized. An additional thanks to the rest of the El Mirador staff, who were always friendly, warm, and kept the hotel in tip top condition. A special thanks to Wilbur (our driver), who picked us up from the airport and provided the majority of our transportation throughout our trip. Michael and Shannon coordinated and organized this as well, as they’ve had a long standing history with him! For those whose Spanish proficiency isn’t strong, Wilbur is more than willing to provide free tutoring to visitors, during road trips! We WILL be returning and intend on staying at El Mirador Suites again…you WILL NOT be disappointed. Thanks again Michael/Shannon (and your entire crew) for everything and for making our vacation a memorable one!
